  • London Branch Up and Running

    April 2015

We are delighted to confirm that our new London branch is now up and running in Waltham Cross. This is a major development as it is the first time in our 60+ year history that the company has had a branch in the London area.

The branch is supervised by Scott Taylor, 34, who has been newly recruited for the role and has an impressive track record in the industry, having previously worked at HSS and Selco Builders Warehouse. Scott can also call upon his workshop experience of repairing and maintaining equipment.

Scott said: “We’ve got great prospects here and I’m really looking forward to the challenge. We have a fantastic location in Waltham Cross with excellent transport links both getting into and out of London, and it’s also very easy for us to reach the outskirts of London as well. There’s a great deal of regeneration work being carried out in the local area, and a significant amount of money invested, so there’s great potential and a lot of building companies situated locally.

“We’ve had a sales presence in London over recent years but we haven’t had a physical depot presence. It will definitely be of benefit being able to rapidly supply equipment and small parts into the local area,” he continued.

Scott is joined at the branch by Sales and Parts Advisor Chris Luiso, who is working on the trade counter, processing orders and deliveries and carrying out general sales administration. The branch has a showroom with a range of equipment plus stocks of replacement parts.”

Scott said: “There’s a great deal of demand for Honda and Stihl equipment and we’re looking forward to fulfilling that demand. We’re also excited about the environmental range of Green Rhino® products, as there are diverse markets that we can look to penetrate such as bus depots which have servicing and engineering facilities. As well as utilising our own experience, it’s great to know we can tap into a wealth of internal knowledge from members of staff who have been with Seddons Plant & Engineers Ltd some 30-40 years.”
